Dr. Andrea Parker was awarded a Health Equity Pilot Grant from the Northeastern University Institute on Urban Health Research. With this grant, she will examine how “reminiscence technology” can support coping and resilience in low-SES populations.
Dr. Parker was named a 2018-2019 Institute on Urban Health Research Health Equity Faculty Scholar.
Dr. Andrea Parker, together with Dr. Miso Kim (College of Arts, Media & Design) and Dr. Jacqueline Griffin (Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) received a Tier 1 Grant from Northeastern University to conduct research on emergency response services for elderly evacuees.
Dr. Parker was an invited member of the Smart & Connected Health (SCH) steering committee for a National Science Foundation (NSF) SCH Visioning Workshop.
